Pristine Facades
The elegant facade of D'Olier Chambers, at the end of busy D'Olier Street, faces Trinity College and the traffic...

This lovely facade shows the true colour of the stone used in many Dublin buildings, but covered by years of grime and pollution.
D'Olier Chambers has a nice restaurant on the ground floor, and it forms the corner of D'Olier Street (where lots of buses serving the Southside start) and Hawkins Street (where most of the rest of the Southside's buses start).
The corner is part of the snarl which daily afflicts the centre of the city as people (usually one to each car) attempt to cross the city. Almost all routes North-South have to pass this spot.
